This Faith Walk Way of Life

But without faith it  is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 NKJV

So about 2 weeks ago I was tagged in a giveaway contest by a fellow sister in Christ  blogger who happens to be a dear close friend of mine. And can you believe it? I won! Lol. Thanks Dulcinea ! (she was blessed too)

While reading the story behind the design of this tee, I really didn’t realize how much it was going to play into my life recently. Not that it shouldn’t everyday but when you are going through some things, this “faith walk way of life” really gets real. Either you are weathering the storm or it’s going to topple you over.

Also, I tend to wear a butterfly necklace daily. Not simply because I love butterflies but because I need and want the reminder that I am transformed in Christ and this should be my life story on a daily basis.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2 KJV

Jehovah Nissi- The Lord is my Banner….. Oh Lord how I know that YOU are my protector, my refuge, my shield that keeps me when my mind and my heart begins to go to war within me when conflict arises. Whatever the case may be, You are there with me to give me peace when my eyes see something different in front of me. Faith isn’t faith if I can see what’s in front of me. May I continue to trust You Lord and wear such truths upon my heart as if etched in stone. Never to be removed or replaced.

Dear hearts, as Believers we will have some some sunny days, some cloudy days, stormy, and even foggy. God never promised us that we won’t ever face hardships but that He will be will us when we do. He will not leave us nor will he forsake us. He knows that the hard days are going to be tough and there may be some tears and some sorrow and heartache but he promises us His presence. He’s walking with us. I’m encouraging you as I encourage myself during this faith walk to not handle life matters like the world does. The word tells us this about faith:

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 KJV

We don’t want to act as if we’ve never seen or had the Lord act on our behalf before or that of a loved one. Right? We obviously trust Him enough that we gave up our sinful life so that we could be reconciled back to the Father through the repentance of our sins and receiving salvation through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ. Correct? (just giving us a little pep talk and reminder that’s all).

Now we surely do not want to waver in our faith or in our faith walk. When we start to doubt God we begin to give the adversary (the enemy ) a platform to start speaking into our life. We begin to sink like Peter who walked on water until the winds began to blow harshly until the Lord plucked him up. He took his eyes off of Christ and began to focus on the storm. Believe me, I’ve fallen short myself so I am not the pot calling the kettle black. But when I see my own weaknesses I want to help and encourage you to press on past yours and not stay in a pit of despair because we have help!

CALL ON JESUS!

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
James 1:2-8 NIV

On this faith walk we have a Best Friend walking beside us the whole time. We just need to take His hand and have a long talk with him. He doesn’t mind at all. But when we do… let us walk in faith believing Him for everything for He is Truth and Light for our path. God bless you today.

I just want to thank the Lord in closing for giving me my husband. He’s not just the man who protects and provides for me, but one gives wise counsel when I am feeling like I am getting overwhelmed with my thoughts and emotions. He’s a God-fearing man who will give me truth even during hard times but in a way that’s still loving. I need that. My life and everything in it has been known to the Lord long ago. He planned and ordered my steps before I came to be. He chose me. With that said, I ought to know that everything will work out for my good because I love Him.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28 NIV
