HE WHO HAS AN EAR LET HIM HEAR
Nothing new being done under the sun is new to God. There’s no new sin that has not already been committed.
The Bible speaks of events to come. It also has given us stories of events that have taken place so long ago. Same things are still being done. It’s just with new faces and updated techniques and tricks in this century and those of the past and future.
Like I tell my kids “Don’t ever think you can get away with anything. I’ve been there, done that or know someone who has. And if it passes by me or your Daddy for just a while, it will catch up with you sooner or later. The game doesn’t change. It’s just a new set of faces. Most importantly, you cannot hide what you’ve said or done from God. Remember that. He sees IT ALL.”
For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear. (Mark 4:22, 23 NKJV)
Could this be you? This has been many of us at times whether you are a born- again Christian or not. We all fall short of grace and have sinned like its nobody’s business. Temptation will find you. This world is full of desires that are pleasing to the eye. Yet ask yourself if they are worth partaking in.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:2 KJV)
Could this be you right now? (picture below)
Are you installing soundproof installation to the Truth? I’m talking about God’s word. This Truth is the very thing we need in our lives to keep us, sustain us, encourage and protect us from the evil that always creeps around luring us in. This Truth is our guide, our manual, our path that leads to a narrow yet righteous way of living through Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
This is dangerous. Just like a house built on sinking sand, just like a house built with the most expensive type of installation to protect your home from heat and cold, it ALL can still crumble. It will sink, it will catch fire and burn down.
Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established; By knowledge the rooms are filled With all precious and pleasant riches. A wise man is strong, Yes, a man of knowledge increases strength; For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, And in a multitude of counselors there is safety. (Proverbs 24:3-6 NKJV)
Time is drawing near. We don’t know the day or hour that Christ will come back. Will you be ready?
Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. (Luke 12:40 NKJV)
The Parable of the Wheat and Tare
Another parable He put forth to them, saying: The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. (Matthew 13:24, 25 NKJV)
I’ve only given you a small scripture about the wheat and tare. I encourage you to read Matthew chapter 13 in its entirety. The parable of sowing seeds is beneficial. The ground on which it’s sown yields an abundance of fruit if planted on good soil. Any other ground is temporary and detrimental if the ground is not cultivated and not taken care of.
But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. (Matthew 13:23 NKJV)
He WHO HAS AN EAR LET HIM HEAR.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God. (Revelation 2:7 NKJV)
* red denotes words spoken by Christ
May all that you from this point be edifying to the Lord. It’s not an easy task to follow but is worth the cost of following. Our Savior is the way.
Will you allow Him to lead you into a life everlasting?
God bless,
Terra
Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. (Matthew 7:13, 14 NKJV)
