I will greatly rejoice in the Lord , my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. Isaiah 61:10 KJV

 If you belong to the Lord Jesus Christ then stand up and give him some praise! Hallelujah for we are sons and daughters of the Most High God who created the heavens and the earth! His Word says that we are CHOSEN, we are ROYAL, we are a holy nation, His SPECIAL people that we may proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.

The King James Version says that we are a PECULIAR people. Now what does that mean to you?

Brothers and sisters we are different therefore we should act different because we belong to God. (Ladies if you need your invisible crown go put it on right now unless you really have one. Hehe ) All jokes aside I am saying that we truly  need to stand erect and with a confidence because we have just reason to do so.

We are God’s precious jewels. We are PJ’s. We don’t need to be walking around as if we are orphaned and left alone. He is with us! God is for us and he chose you and me. Take heart believers and stand.

“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord , that he might be glorified.” Isaiah 61:3 KJV

On this day I am full of joy in the Lord. When I read 1Peter 2:9 I straightened my back right up. I had to realize once again who I am and Who I belong to. I am a daughter of the wonderful Father and the bride of Christ who’s coming back one day for me. (and you) There is nothing on this earth or beyond the grave that can keep me from Him and his love. So if your head and heart is hanging low pick it up. All this week I’ve been dealing with things but I could only do what I know to do. Pray. I had to trust God with it all and I still am. I will not tell you to do something that I haven’t done myself. And even in the mist of your obstacles continue to give praise to the One who is worthy. When we praise Him our eyes become less focused on what’s getting us down for in due time the sun will shine again. Hallelujah! Glory to God saints. Be blessed and encouraged. Let praise fill your mouth and heart with thanksgiving. Remember that you ARE a PJ…a precious jewel.

I dedicate this to my friend and sister in Christ named Vicky D. whom I call PJ. She calls and texts me by that nickname. Long ago when we met in church and shared our hearts, tears and stories we began to rise above the ashes. While I dont know exactly how or when we began to call each other PJ, little did I know that these powerful, yet small set of words were written in the Bible. God is so amazing and brings His truths into light when you need them and are meant to share with all for a time such as this. God bless you always dear friend.
