Jesus Christ, our Solid Rock and stable foundation has given us every reason to keep the faith and to persevere. “He who promised is faithful.” He’s FAITHFUL!
Doesn’t that sound so good?. I don’t know about you but that revved my soul to press on even in tough times.
My God! I just thank You for such an encouraging word this day.
While it is easy to slack off from reading the Holy Word, praying and being in fellowship with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, we need it. We really do. Life can pass us by in a blink of an eye.
The Lord desires us to commune with Him and with others. We cannot stand on our own and we surely cannot make this journey without guidance, encouragement, hope and faith. We are in desperate need of His strength. We are in desperate need of Him.
Today’s scripture prompted a desire within me for I surely have slacked in being away from you all. While I have my church family here where I live, I desire to be in fellowship with you all and to do the Lord’s will and send a word of encouragement out to those who need it.
While I never want to walk in disobedience, I still strive daily to do the Father’s business that is set before me. I’m far from perfect. I’ve been reminded that some things are only for a season. When it’s time to let go…. it’s time to let go and move forward.
Our journey may we require us to stop and rest (and witness) for a while in a particular place but soon it’s time to pack up and keep going for each man’s road is not the same though we are prayerfully still headed in the same direction.
What I’m saying is to not give up and do not be deterred.
Be blessed and bless others for the Lord has shown favor to you this day and remember to encourage someone for we never know just how much a kind word or act can affect ones life.
With love and prayers always,
Terra
What a nice moment…to read your words again.
Thank you dear brother…… it’s a refreshing time for me.
This is so true and so encouraging! Good to see you post, your beautiful words of inspiration have been missed! Blessings to you today.
Praise the Lord! It’s good hearing from you T…. Thank you and God bless you my friend.
My wife and I have been going through a bit of a desert in some areas, but our walk with God has never been stronger. Part of it is fellowship through our church and part of it is going back to God instead of complaining against Him like we both used to before we got married. Thanks for posting!
Oh my goodness. Well I certainly thank the Holy Spirit for putting it on my heart what to write today. My heart is blessed to see the fruit of obedience through your message. I will keep you and your wife in prayer for sure. Thank you for sharing your heart and great truth! God bless you and yours.
Good morning, Terra. Yes, some things are only for a season. That includes people sometimes. Difficult to let them go but perhaps God has another direction and they are hindering our growth or we are hindering theirs. God bless
Good morning Rebecca. You are correct. I was thinking the very same thing. Indeed it can be difficult letting people go… for I have been in that position a few times. It’s for the best though. We have to trust and rely on God through the process. Blessings to you dear sister. Have a wonderful day!
I’m so happy that you’re posting again. And your encouragement on Instagram is a tremendous blessing. Continue to do as the Holy Spirit leads because He’s touching so many through you. Thank you for being such a blessing to me. 🙂
Thank you so much dear Sissy for the rich words of encouragement. It feels great to be back writing. I am gushing over in thankfulness for what the Holy Spirit is doing through me. You are welcome. ..I am blessed to be a blessing! 🙂
