You and I have 24hrs in a day to say and do as we please. Well sort of.

The question is:

What will you do with the time you’ve been given?

As Christians, as ambassadors for Christ what are we doing with our time outside of taking care of family and working? Are we reaching hearts and sharing the love of Jesus, are we spreading the Gospel with the world? There are many lost and broken souls walking around us daily. With everything going on lately in the world such as wars, rumors of wars, hurricanes, earthquakes shouldn’t we be pressed even the more to reach out for the day that King Jesus comes back will be a mighty one. There will not be time for a second chance to “get it right” or choose God over the other gods that speak louder in their lives. 

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven,  but My Father only.  But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.  For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,  and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.  Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left.  Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.  Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.  But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.  Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

Matthew 24:36‭-‬44 NKJV

Now is not the time to slack in prayer, slack in being about the Father’s business that we were called to do once we became His children who no longer walk according to the flesh but to the ways of the Spirit. (Romans 8:1-11, Galatians 5:16)
For we were not saved to just sit back and relax. We are here to go out into the world and to make disciples. For however you came to be a Christian, someone was praying for you. Someone was doing their part whether they planted a seed or watered the soil for your spiritual growth.

We owe it to God to use our 24hrs wisely. Yes we can have fun and have our down time but exactly how far is the scale tipping in the direction of our time doing what we want versus that of God’s? In 24hrs, many around the world are dying mentally and physically. Someone is already mourning a loved one. Someone wishes that they were on borrowed time to do more than what they’ve done, said they were sorry for doing this and saying that. A little more we hear and possibly see the life walking in darkness being pulled to the side of the adversary.
Satan is all about killing, stealing and destroying. Jesus died and rose to give us life. He set us free. The scales came off our eyes, our ears became open to hear the Truth and receive Him into our hearts. The calloused build-up around our hearts was being broken off. We can now live a life of liberty in Him. The chains are gone. We are no longer in bondage to the evil one.

 
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10 NKJV

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. Ephesians 5:8‭-‬10‭, ‬15‭-‬17 NIV

While there are many scriptures that I can bring forward, I pray you get the gist of what I am saying as I believe that you do. Please don’t ignore it, put it on the back burner because you don’t know when your own 24hrs will be up. We will all stand before Him and give an account. I speak this not only to you but to myself for I too am still a work in progress striving to do better with this life I live in Jesus Christ.
My heart has been pressed to share this message. The Holy Spirit would not relent. As your sister in Christ I implore you stir up the fire within you, utilize the spiritual gifts given to you for the edification of building up one another, encouraging one another in the Body to get our work done. Lives are on the line daily.

While we do not have the ability to save anyone we have the power to speak Life into them in hope that they will come into the realization that they cannot live this life or have eternity in heaven without Jesus.

May your heart be lifted, inspired and encouraged to move forward with all the love you have for the Lord and that of the world for the sake of seeing and hearing lives being changed for the greater good.
