Praise The Lord While You Can Because It Cannot Be Heard From The Grave

For the grave cannot praise you,
death cannot sing your praise;
those who go down to the pit
cannot hope for your faithfulness. (Isaiah 38:18 NIV)

May we not take it upon ourselves to think and rationalize that we only need to praise the Lord when only the good is going on in our lives. We should praise him at ALL times. What good can be done from the grave?

What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit. (the grave)? Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your truth and faithfulness to men? (Psalm 30:9 AMP)

Jesus reigns. He lives forever. He’s our shelter during the storms, our Refuge when we are in need of help and an everlasting Friend Who loves us unconditionally. He deserves more than what we give him and the mere fact that it’s conditional. May we break away from selfish thinking of our wants and needs and see to the desires and plans He has for us and those of others that we are called to go out and attend to.

Call out to Him and just tell him that you love him, praise him through adversity, praise him through your healing and deliverance for its on the way! If you believe on the Word of God and know it to be true, praise him even when you can’t see the outcome!

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1 NKJV)

As an ambassador for Christ, I pray to go all the way doing the very things that he asks me to do, to say what needs to be said as I fall into alignment with the Holy Spirit. Whether I’m writing, blogging, emailing, conversing over the phone or ministering out on the streets, I ask the Lord to be my all and all even if I feel myself growing weary and falling apart.

May I take my place to rest in him until I am rejuvenated and ready to continue my journey. My life isn’t over yet. There is work still to be done. I may feel like a bag of bones if my body is ailing me but it’s my spirit and love for others that drive me to press on in Christ.

How blessed I am to see another day. (you are too) It’s a new day to do work, to go out and plants seeds in hope that they will bear fruit when it is harvest season. I work not to gain reward from man but that of our heavenly Father. My prize awaits me in heaven though many blessings have been showered down upon this earth for us who are called His.

I can wake up and smile, singing within my soul and professing with my mouth that God is good! Don’t you know?!! Don’t you know this for yourself to be true?

Hallelujah!! Praise be to our Lord!!

I thank You Lord for being the head of my life! I thank you for being my solid ground on sinking sand. My Rock, My Fortress, My Strong Tower, My Redeemer, My King, My first Groom. What a Foundation I have in You that my life can continue to grow upon.

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. (Ephesians 2:19-22 NKJV)

He’s praiseworthy so let’s rejoice! God bless you brothers and sisters in the Lord. Let your light shine!
