Ambassador for Christ

We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Corinthians 5:20, 21 NIV)

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20 NIV)

Are You Feeling Squeezed? Sin, Worldly Living, and the Narrow Gate

20130618-072319.jpg
Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. (John 8:34-36 NKJV)

Our “ticket” to heaven or hell is given by God himself. There are no “get-by” passes or a friend standing at the pearly gates “hooking you up” to live in comfort and leisure up in heaven when you leave this earth while you have not done a self check and most importantly given your life to Christ for the sake of receiving salvation and forgiveness from He who is our Lord and Savior. It’s not that kind of party. God does not operate like that.

We choose the route we want to take in life. As well, we choose to do either right or wrong. The decision is ours. Scripture tells us “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. (Matthew 7:13, 14 NKJV)

I need to be squeezed. Don’t you?

Often I find myself asking of the Lord in regards to reproof and correction. I surely am not one who is perfect and I claim to not be perfect though I am made perfect in Him. We all have sinned and continue to sin in some sort whether in word, thought or action consciously and subconsciously. I want to know the error of my ways so that I can change. I want to be forgiven of my sins. I want to be made over daily.

I NEED TO BE SQUEEZED.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (II Timothy 3:16, 17 NKJV)

Many succumb to the ways of the world without fighting for what right. It’s easier to pleasure and please man because we don’t want to hurt their feelings or because we want to fit in rather than stand out for God who has been nothing but good and merciful toward us, who loves us without conditions and who gave us a way out and a way in that we may be washed, cleansed and approved to be united with Him forever where no more tears and sorrow shall reign in eternal glory in heaven. As believers and followers of Christ we are not called to life a life of such. We are not to conform to the ways of the world. (Romans 12:2)

We were made to stand out. We were made to let our light shine for the world to see. “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; (I Peter 2:9 NKJV)

Unfortunately this place we live in is full of evil and lust. Temptation is always knocking at our door. Will we answer?

Not one of us came into this world without sin so I pray we don’t walk around as if we have never done wrong. God knows all and sees all. He’s merciful and forgiving. He’s loving and patient. This is how we should also be towards others who have committed sin who are in the Body of Christ as well as the sinner who has not turned from his ways and who has yet to receive Christ into their life. The Word tells us:
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (James 5:16 KJV)

Are you feeling the squeeze yet? I’m not here to condemn one soul but I will not shy away from the truth. I will not accept what God says is wicked and abominable in this world and the ways of it so if I have to walk it alone to be seen as righteous and holy before The One who holds my life in His hands then I will. Temporary pain in this life is far from comparison to the eternal joy I will have in my Fathers kingdom.

I pray this for you too dear Reader. Fight the good fight and don’t give in. You can do it and come out victorious in Christ Jesus. He is our strength, shield, deliverer, protector and provider. Nothing is too mighty for God to do. Amen? Amen!

“Thank you Father, Son and Holy Spirit for being my path and light. I thank You for being my all and leading me in truth. May I cling to Your truths and convictions and lead a life that’s pleasing and honoring. You work as one but in unity giving leadership to all who will receive. Praises I sing on high for You are worthy my God to be praised! In Jesus name I pray. Amen”

Preach the Word

I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. (II Timothy 4:1-4 NKJV)

❤Sending You a Love Letter❤

So who says that I have to know you to love you?!!

Dear Beloved,

I know we are kinda strangers and all….but I have such a love for you that it’s not on the normal side of this life!

God placed this love deep down within me.

I find myself thinking about you, praying for you and even shedding tears. I rejoice with you when you have good news to share and my heart mourns with you when you are sad. I ask myself what is it about you that draws me near.

“Terra, why on earth do you spend time thinking about people in the midnight hour when you could be sleeping? What about when you could just be relaxing and having some Me, Myself and I time?!!” Have you considered your agenda that’s already filled to the max? ( yes I talk to myself in my head of course! )

These are a few of the questions I ask myself and the answer is JESUS.

20120418-102026.jpg

You are such a precious and valuable treasure that the Lord loves! I can love you because he loved me first. I sit and wonder how your life is going, wondering if there is anything I can say or do to be a friend, a comforter, a shoulder to cry on or just be an ear to listen and hear you out. I pray for your family and your circumstances. I often pray for your salvation and your wellbeing. You name it and I’ve likely already prayed about it or it’s going to be prayed about.

When you come to mind, I can’t help but ask the Lord to meet your needs. I am so curious about you that I inquire of Him things that I can do as His vessel to be of service to you. I thank the Holy Spirit for guidance. I can’t do much without the greatest GPS to lead me. God is so good.

There is nothing I expect from you in return. It blesses my heart to bless you. Lord knows that I want the best for you and your family. I pray, asking that your life is blessed, that a hedge of protection surrounds you and that every thing you do that is of good standing with the Lord prospers.

Be filled with love, joy, hope and faith!

Beloved, just know that someone in this world loves you even if you think you aren’t loved or deserving of it. God loves you more than anyone on this earth and will never leave you.

Don’t turn your back on Love. God is the Master of Unconditional Love. I can’t love you quite like Him but with all that I have that’s been poured into my soul, I share with you. He gifts me with many blessings that I can’t help but pour back out to you.

Love never stops giving even if you try to fight it. Jesus Christ is the greatest example of Love. I want to be more like him each and every day. May my love and light shine that you will see it and receive it.

Hold on to your faith, cling heavily to the hem of Christ, be stedfast and immovable when life gets rocky. Call on the name of the Lord and he will come to you. Ask Him into your life if you have never met him. Repent and receive. He will welcome you with open arms.

I stand in hope that you are doing well today. I love you and I’m praying for you. If you need me, I’m not too hard to find.

Sincerely,
Terra

The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing. (Zephaniah 3:17 NKJV)

My Eyes Look Up to Thee……

20120301-081626.jpg
Psalm 121 A Song of Ascents. I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help?

God the Help of Those Who Seek Him

My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore. (Psalm 121:1-8 NKJV)

Trust in the Lord dear brethren for our God is not dead. He’s surely alive living inside of you even if you feel and think as if he is not near. He is! Emotions will get the best of us. Stand on the Word and don’t behave as if you don’t know how powerful and majestic the Great I AM is.

Do not put trust in your emotions. They come and go as the waves in the ocean; up and down. The Bible tells us:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; (Proverbs 3:5 NKJV)

Call on Him. Blow your trumpet and let your aid be made known! You need him more than anyone. Some days may grow long and weary and seem as if the light at the end of the tunnel may never shine, but I’m here to tell you that HELP is on the way. Be patient and wait on the Lord. His timing is never too early or too late. He comes right on time! TRUST and BELIEVE that you will be rescued.

Psalm 121 has personally been one of my favorite scriptures that I have embedded in my heart and trusted in since I gave my life to Christ years ago. He IS my help in times of trouble. I look UP and CALL on him because I KNOW HE is able to come through for me when I let my basket of cares be made known.

Friends, whatever it is that you are in need of, it would behoove you to let it go and give it to God. Trust that his hand is already at work. Plead your case and leave it at the alter. Amidst waiting for your rescue, count it joy as your wait with patience. The Lord is doing a great thing on the inside of you.

GOD IS ABLE TO DO ALL THINGS BUT FAIL.
