Psalm 143:3-4 NIV
3 The enemy pursues me,
he crushes me to the ground;
he makes me dwell in the darkness
like those long dead.4 So my spirit grows faint within me; my heart within me is dismayed.
* the enemy will continue to pursue you for he knows God has great plans for your life and the work you will do for His kingdom. You ARE a threat to the enemy and his plans. Know that. He will not stop until he succeeds. Don’t allow him to destroy your inner being, to miss out on the blessings God so greatly wants you to have an enjoy as well as share with others.
* verse 5 talks about remembering the days of old; meditating on all of God’s goodness and the work of His hands.
Though we go through and deal with troubled times past and present, inner turmoil that haunt us, commit sin that we think is unforgivable ( except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit ) God doesn’t change his plans for our lives. He has placed a calling on the life of the chosen way before conception and birth took place. Your life was already written. Your sins were already known ahead of time. Do you really think that the Lord can’t use you? There is nothing that can separate you from the love of God. Take control of your thoughts, bind up those negative spirits and feelings such as fear, worry, stress, anger, generational curses, self pity, doubt, resentment, hurt, lack of faith, an unforgiving heart towards someone and turn what was meant for bad into good. Pray. Seek the Lord for wisdom, discernment, leadership, righteousness, healing and deliverance for it’s time for those shackles to come off so you can live a life of abundance and prosperity in love, freedom, peace and joy in the Lord.
Take trust in the One Who is your Rock, Strong and High Tower, Strength, your Fortress and Stedfast Love. Let go and let God. He is your Redeemer, Deliverer, refuge in the storm. He is your Shield of protection. Lay your cares and concerns at the feet of the Lord. Cry unto Him until you are set free. Let Him wipe away your tears and comfort you for the victory has been won. Just claim it and receive it. Speak life and blessings over yourself and others. Watch the Lord work on your behalf!
” Father I pray that any and all hindrances that keep your children from walking in the calling You spoke over them be broken. May those chains be shattered that freedom may reside and take place in their hearts and lives. Show them any hidden pain and unforgiveness that lies dormant, so nothing is left uncovered for healing to take it’s place. Let Your Word shine truth in their hearts and act as a beacon of hope, always knowing that there is promise in everything You say. In Jesus name. Amen

Thank you Terra, and it is so True, God knows us His Children even before we are Born and because He knows we will come to heart repentance He chooses us to be conformed into the image of His Son Jesus Christ and if like we the 100th sheep are lost in confusion and fear, He will rescue us and it is by The Holy Spirits empowering we put to death the flesh and walk in righteousness being Born again of God’s seed as the Scripture below confirms… yes indeed how wonderful and Loving is our Awesome God. Romans 8:28-39
1John 3:1-11 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.
Hope you are feeling better Terra, will e-mail again soon, I understand as I have a simular condition being born with it but wonderfully the Lord knew how much I could handle and healed me Miraculously of some illnesses and strengthened me to live with the rest as He is doing with you. Thank you again for your prayer support and you have mine, as you said God may still intervene and heal us completely… we Trust and obey because there is no other way.

I encourage you brothers and sisters in the faith to stand strong, be encouraged and speak the word of the Lord over and over. Place it as a garment over yourself and be courageous. Do no fret when the enemy tries to bring you into a place of condemnation, a fear that strongholds can never be broken even when you see them in yourself, your family or anyone you come in contact with and see the chains of bondage crippling the mind, body and soul. God’s WORD will not return void. It’s time to break free.

Actually we should “preserve our spiritual strongholds” for it is evil that will attempt to overcome them unless we are shielded by and walk in the Light of the Holy Spirit given to us unconditionally if we merely accept the joyous invitation from Jesus. The image of the chains above is esp meaningful. When I speak to recovering addicts and alcoholics I explain that in essence they chain themselves in active substance abuse, a self crucifixion. I also have a personal take on the Second Coming. I do not think it is a particular event in time. Every time an alcoholic recovers by accepting Jesus as his Higher Power, Christ has come again. Every time an addict recovers and becomes a social worker or volunteer at the homeless shelter, Jesus has come again. Every time a dysfunctional family breaks the stranglehold of the hood guided and freed by Christ, Jesus has come again. If He is in our midst we have no Second Coming for which to wait despite scripture.

I thank you for expressing your thoughts on this post as well as sharing what you have done in your work profession with those who suffer. It is a blessing that through their hardships and sufferings that they decided to receive Jesus Christ into their lives as their Lord and to be in fellowship with Him. May we all be thankful for Him leaving the Holy Spirit with us to help us, comfort us and guide us daily.
While I understand what you are saying about Christ coming back every time someone changes their life, I can only pray that you seek the Lord’s truth about His Second Coming because the Bible says that He WILL return. We must be very careful to not interpret God’s word with our own understanding because we cannot fully fathom the sovereignty of He who reigns on high. Also, scripture tells us to not be wise in our own eyes. I say this not to discredit your opinion or belief but to point out the truth that I believe what is written in totality in the Bible. It is by faith that we believe His every word.
