Hannah’s Prayer ( first 2 verses that inspired me )
Then Hannah prayed and said:
“My heart rejoices in the Lord;
in the Lord my horn is lifted high.
My mouth boasts over my enemies,
for I delight in your deliverance.
“There is no one holy like the Lord;
there is no one besides you
there is no Rock like our God. (1 Samuel 2:1, 2 NIV)
So I just thought I would share the joy in my heart this morning with you all. I’m feeling the rays of the sunshine fall fresh over my face though it started in my heart when I opened my eyes.
The Lord woke me up this morning!
Not an alarm clock, not the dogs barking at something in the woods or just waking up because I’m tired of sleeping but because of the goodness of the Lord, because of his mercy and grace, breath has been put into my body yet another day! Oh how we take life for granted! The hustle and bustle of getting up and getting your day going not even realizing to the fullest that nothing we have done no matter how good it was, granted us life.
THIS IS ALL ABOUT GOD!
If you don’t know, I am a wife of 17 years with 6 children. I’m blessed to be able to be at home and take care of my family while my husband goes off to work to provide for us. It’s a blessing to be able to wake up SMILING, to have a heart to pray, spend time with the Lord and get my husband off to work. After that, it’s about the kids and the chores. ( can’t forget about having some fun either. Making memories is the best. )
It’s Spring Break so my kids are sleeping in for just a little bit. Wow. I have 6 kids! Yeah I know it already, but these are lives that God created! We were all known before conception. How amazing is that?!!
Perhaps you may be wondering why on earth is she so happy! At times I ask myself the same thing but I know that it’s the joy of the Lord that is in me! He woke me up. I have all my senses, I am in my right mind and I have a willing and able body to make choices for the good or the bad. ( and my goal is to make the right decisions every day )
Tomorrow is not promised to any of us. The next breath isn’t either, but I CHOOSE to make the best with what I have been given. May we be thankful over the small things in life and just be content with what we’ve been blessed with. If we are blessed with more be thankful and if not, still be thankful. Your pocket and bank account can be plenteous yet you can be poor in spirit. On the flip side you can be poor in finances and the wealthiest is spirit.
Just take some time and think on these things would you please? Life can change in a blink of an eye and you can never be fully prepared.
Listening to the birds tweet, the wind chime slightly clanking as a breeze passes through and soaking up the sun rays for this brief moment I have to myself gives me many reasons to rejoice. There’s no Manic Monday living here. Just another day to gain perspective and to grow in the Lord and to live my life the best I know how with His help.
Lord I am so thankful and blessed that I arose to see another day, to bask in the beauty of your earth creations, to have a heart’s desire to choose to make the best of this life given to me. Living Simply In Abundance….. my life, my love and my joy is found in Your presence. Thank You ❤
Living Simply In Abundance 
Last night I dreamed the rapture came. Not like I expected, but it was amazing. Oddly, I can remember very little and I was puzzled, but there was such a sense of peace and calm. This must have gone on for hours, for I would wake up, roll over, and continue in the dream.
I get such a strong sense of his approach as I write this note to you.
I often wake up with a song going off inside of me. One that really gets to me lately is the David Crowder version of “How he loves”
He is jealous for me Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree. Bending beneath the weight of his love and glory. Oh, how he loves us so.

Sister! This was the most beautiful post ever! It reminded me of the healthy perspective we all need daily. yes God is worthy of all the Glory and Honor. May everything that has breathe, give Him the praises. Yes, Mondays can be chaotic. I like to believe our thoughts can become the defining point of what our day will be. I like to think of Monday as Magnificent made in His Marvelous Glory! Monday to me is Meaningful and Magnificent.
No matter the circumstances, God created Mondays to worship Him just the same. I am glad you are rejoicing in your gifts from God. Beautiful Post Terra, and I love the calla lillies and their ever so bright orange tones.
