This Christmas: Praying for the Nations

This Christmas…

Praying for the Nations and how the Lord will lead His people to bless them, to share the Gospel with those lost, those walking in darkness and many who chosen to reject the Truth.

This day, this hour, this season.

Pray. Seek. Ask. Listen

Oh how my heart yearns for the salvation of many this day, this Christmas season. Jesus is the greatest gift any person can receive that will last and stands the test of time. He will not fade, there is no new program or upgrade. He’s the same past, present and future. The latest and greatest gadgets, fashion and material possessions will be forgotten. Some will attain such things and some will not. Are they really worth stressing over this holiday season? No, but it’s done anyway.

My heart is for the Nations. I can’t help but pray and seek guidance in what to do. My mind travels to far away places wondering what groups of peoples have never ever heard the name Jesus. Have never ever heard the Gospel or given the opportunity to receive the gift of salvation.  Many will perish because of lack of knowledge, many will perish because they choose to not receive. How this hurts my heart.

Some nights and days I have to just go before the Lord pleading with Him over such people. I literally begin to feel my eyes well up with tears for those I have never laid eyes on let alone know where they live. I care. I can’t help but care because when this life ends we all will be somewhere for eternity.

Jesus Prays for All Believers

“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;  that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.  And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:  I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.  O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me.  And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:20‭-‬26 NKJV

Sharing this message with you all was just presses upon my heart. What you do after reading it is between you and the Father. Many lives are at risk. While it’s a personal decision one must make to take that step of faith to receive salvation we that belong to the Kingdom can play an active role somehow right where we are. I desire to do missionary work afar off but it may not be my season. Perhaps my work can be done right here where I live. The homeless, the women and children who are prostituted that begin to accept this life as acceptable, those on their death beds, those living a life of crime, those living for gods that are false. Many are spiritually blinded with hardened hearts and deaf ears. Oh that the scales would come off.

Today is just a raw moment to wear my heart on my sleeve and ask each and every one of you to pray and see what the Lord speaks to you, to see how you can take part in a matter that truly makes one appreciate the Life given to us so that we can be a part of His family.

Forever.

So let’s all pray for the Nations so that they too can be a part of the family. To celebrate Christmas for what and Who it’s really about.

From my heart to yours with love,

Terra
