When you’ve come to that place along your journey, when you just don’t know what’s what, it is at the feet of Jesus you will find peace and understanding.
Make the time to rest in the Lord; GIVE him priority each and every day. Too many times we get caught up in the busyness of life that we don’t slow down and seek His presence. Not just to bring our problems to Him, but to gain some wisdom, discernment, and knowledge. We need intimate time with the Lord for ONLY he can give us what this world can’t.
For me………… it’s my wellspring. It’s my quiet time that I NEED with the Savior. I have to drop everything else and be at his feet, absorbing all that is imparted. I rather be a Mary in a Martha world. ( read Luke10:38-42 )
May my heart over my actions preside; to choose the better part. That’s where I want to be more and more each day. Don’t you? We can’t live in this world and do right without Him.
Welcome Jesus into your day giving of your first-fruits. There’s no time like the present time. He should be first in our planner/agenda book written in ink, not pencil. God has breathed life into you yet another day. How awesome is that?!!
” O Father, I thank you for be a loving father to us all even when we don’t deserve it. It’s by Your grace that we are here. Your precious Son is the Teacher, willing and able to share with us how to live a godly life. By help of Your Holy Spirit we are able to make a decision and choose the better part before the anxieties of this world scoop us up and blindsight us to the blessings in our day. I pray for my friends that they too will draw from the Living Well. No greater refreshing will ever be found. Anoint the heads of Your children that we may go out into a new day shining the Light of your glory. Blessed be your name in all the earth. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen “
Proverbs 16:21-23 NKJV
“The wise in heart will be called prudent, And sweetness of the lips increases learning. Understanding is a wellspring of life to him who has it. But the correction of fools is folly. The heart of the wise teaches his mouth, And adds learning to his lips.”

Great post! I drink coffee with God every morning — I need to have my quiet time with the Lord or I don’t seem to function well. 🙂
Amen Dei! Sorry I’m late on replying. I thought I had already. I am actually going to sit and have a cup of tea and meditate on His goodnes this morning and hear more teachings from the Word. Learning is beneficial. 😉
Hi Terra, I feel you on making God our first priority. When you really think about it, if he did not wake us up then what agenda would we have? If your health fell in a bad state, is that when we will make time for him? Why? Because without your health their is no real living. I assume so much is taken for granted. Thanks for sharing and allowing me to share with others.
Have a bright day!
That is the truth……. we would not have an agenda had He not given us another day to see on this earth. All things considered, we ought to be thankful for the blessings and give Him honor and the first fruits of our day. God bless your day just as well!
“When you’ve come to that place along your journey, when you just don’t know what’s what, it is at the feet of Jesus you will find peace and understanding.” This is a truly powerful statement. I totally agree with you about the value of quality time with the Lord. When I find the time get closer to God I have a much better day. Thanks for sharing.
